Sewa International and its partner organizations actively participated in multiple International Day of Yoga celebrations across Greater Houston, promoting health, wellness, and community service. Events featured the participation of D. C. Manjunath Chenneerappa, Carol McCutcheon, Lesley Briones, Don McCoy, and other community leaders. Despite heavy rain, volunteers turned out in large numbers, with Sewa receiving a special proclamation recognizing its community service. More than 40 yoga events were held across the Houston region, reflecting growing enthusiasm for this year's theme, "Yoga for Healthy Ageing."
