The Vaisakhi Mela held at Nassau Community College witnessed a record-breaking turnout this year, attracting more than 19,000 attendees and becoming the largest Vaisakhi celebration ever held in the area. The event featured a vibrant atmosphere filled with cultural pride, community spirit, and family entertainment. Dozens of vendors participated in the mela, offering food, shopping, and activities for visitors of all ages. A dedicated kids’ zone with free games and fun rides remained a major attraction throughout the day. Four popular Punjabi singers energized the crowd with lively performances, turning the celebration into a grand musical fest in beautiful weather.
