Leaders of the Indo-American community hosted a standing-room-only Meet & Greet featuring Judge Wong and the candidate, bringing community members together for an evening of conversation, questions, and idea exchange. Attendees took the opportunity to listen, ask thoughtful questions, share perspectives, and engage in a meaningful discussion with the guests. A key topic of the evening was the importance of experience in judicial service. The candidate emphasized that voters should closely consider a judicial candidate’s courtroom experience, including whether the person has actually tried cases, appeared in court, handled difficult legal matters and understands firsthand the responsibilities involved in making decisions that affect people’s lives. The discussion also highlighted the importance of local and down-ballot elections, with an emphasis on the role voters play in shaping their communities through participation in these races. The evening concluded with appreciation for the hosts and everyone who attended and contributed to the discussion.
